    November 2020. Animation workshop about found object as a flip-book. I’ve been invited by Agnieszka Jarząb to work with a student’s group of the Akademia Sztuk Pięknych in Wrocław. The workshop was online, but it was very inspiring to share stuff with them: Julia Łebek, Anna Wacławek, Marta Oleksy, Modesta Gorol, Julita Dąbrowska, Pola Hajduga and Emilia Skwarska.     Funded by Kreas’18 (Ajuntament de Girona) this tiny movie theatre was introduced on June 6th 7 p.m. at La Volta. Built in collaboration with Pepon Meneses and Noemí Batllori it will display an urban phantasmagoria by Blanca Viñas.

  • Two workshops at Escola Illa Sabadell

    I’ve visited twice Escola ILLA at Sabadell during the lasts months, to work with their Graphic Design and Illustration students.  For only a few days we have been animating their images with a very experimental approach.     Our three short films made with toys were shown at Zumzeig Cinema, Barcelona, last Saturday. Curated by Esther Vilà, the program included a presentation of the whole Som Joguines project, a video essay by Marta Sureda and Fèlix Pérez-Hita and a folioscope installation built in collaboration with La Volta (Girona).

    Two years after we started to work with Som Joguines, last Friday Nov 30th this animated triptych was premiered in the museum has been hosting us, in Figueres. The toys of  Museu del Joguet de Catalunya  collection helped us to satirize about ourselves: alterity, war and the relationship with other animals.   • The night Frankenstein was born

    This year, our animation workshop with Culturnautes (cultural summer camp for kids at CCCB) was about Mary Shelley, poetry and bodies. We were making «arms, eyes and anger» for a monster that became alive during the closing show.

  • One day at Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln

    Pepon Meneses and me spent one day in Cologne with animation students of KHM. We were talking about filming strategies, and we built sequences on a Solingen’s synagogue picture. Thanks to Isabel Herguera and Jacqueline Hen for this proposal. It was very interesting visiting you!
